PSA (prostate specific antigen) is a blood test used to assess prostate health. It can help detect early signs of prostate cancer, monitor existing prostate conditions, and investigate urinary symptoms such as weak flow or frequent night time urination. PSA levels can also rise for non-cancerous reasons, so results are best interpreted alongside age, symptoms and trends over time.

Fasting is NOT required.
